birthdays

 We had a mini birthday bash tonight

    Camryn's birthday was Thursday, and she came over tonight to celebrate with us.

    We had pizza and ice cream cake......and was it good!

    It was us, the Kudelka Klan, and Camryn and between the 8 of us I had a hard time following the conversation.  Yes, I couldn't even hear myself talking!

    I did put in my  hearing aids, but that only amplified the sound on my left side.  The right side was still kind of crappy.

    It was a nice night  anyway.

    Speaking of nights, I actually slept last night!  I only got up once and I slept for what seemed forever.  I also took a nap today, so I am well rested.

    The worry about my brain is gone.  Hopefully there will be a solution for my hearing loss in the future too.

    Jackie heard ambulances today and I saw 2 heading west on Flagg Road.  When Julia came back from showing everyone the house, she said my favorite intersection..... Brooklyn Road and Flagg Road.... was the scene of a motorcycle vs car accident.  I hope no one was seriously injured.

    I  hate the intersection because if you are on Brooklyn Road, you cannot see traffic from the west because of a hill.  And people don't do 55 out there.  Sometimes it is like a speedway.

    Driving its serious business and we all have a responsibility to obey the laws and be careful.  I should follow that advice myself.
