It seems I just brought up Halloween decorations
Now there is Christmas stuff all over the house.
It's not been put in the right spot, but it is out of boxes and visible.
Sometimes we look at something and wonder, "when did we get that?" There were a couple of those moments today. Items we don't remember seeing before came out of a Christmas container.
Speaking of containers, I have several lids but no tubs. And one tub with no lid. I have no idea how that happens.
Friend Linda said they had extra lids, but this is a new tub. Also, that was before they moved. I don't know where I bought it, otherwise I would go back and tell them I forgot the lid.
I am still fluffing our tree.
I am not thrilled with a plastic tree, but I don't have much choice. I just could not continue going out and cutting a tree, pulling it in the house, setting it up, taking it down, watering it......after all the years of doing that I realized it was becoming much to much. So, plastic is the option.
I just have to remember not to water it.
On the positive side, the garland is finally up! Now I have to work on taking the mums and pumpkins off the porch.
Can I save the mums? Right now they seem frozen, but can I stick them in the garage and bring them back next year?
If not, compost bin, here they come.
