Sometimes I don't know what to write
But I write anyway!!
My Christmas letter this year was that way.
I send a 2 sided letter, the front side with not so true stuff, the second side with run of the mill updates on my family.
In the past, I thought my first sides were particularly funny. At least, I thought they were. But the last 2 years have been lame. And this year's is the lamest yet.
I have one gift I want to share at Christmas, and that is the gift of laughter. I try to make a funny read, and usually it is.
The first letter I sent out was a long time ago.
I remember someone getting the card, opening the card, and putting the letter aside. Someone else picked up the letter and started reading it and was laughing. That is the reaction I want. I also wish I had a copy of that letter.
Maybe I am not funny anymore. (I know, I am funny looking. Ha Ha.)
Maybe I am writing without the benefit of a glass or two of egg nog.
Maybe the world has just gotten too damn horrible.
I just don't know.
What I do know is the Bears are not a good team. And I did not watch the entire game.
Peace and Love
