 Emily and I went to a play tonight

    We saw Chicago at the Coronado Theater in Rockford.

    I thought it was a great show!

    But, and there is always a big butt, I did have a problem hearing parts, especially dialogue and asides.

    But the dancing and singing was truly amazing.

    Again, I wonder about these national touring companies.  They play one night here, one night there and who knows what happens in between.  This show had a band and large cast.  I know they take a bus to the next city, because there was a huge bus waiting for them.  And I know they can sleep on the bus, but they still have to have a hotel room just to get a better rest, shower, and down time.

    It would not be the life for me.  You have to love, really love, theater to do this. Oh, you also have to be talented.

    Saw friends Dan and Linda there.  I actually walked right past them but Emily saw them and waved me over.  We chatted for a few minutes, but not long enough.

    The show was longish...starting at 7:30 and. running until about 9:30.

    Jackie and I also had our first day of care with a regular care giver.  She will be coming Monday and Wednesdays from 8 to noon and it will be a big help to me.
