Bah, humbug

 I am ready for this year to end, sports wise

    I just finished watching the Bears lose a thrilling 6-3 game to the Seahawks.  6-3!!

    The Seahawks had more sacks of the Bears QB than the Bears scored points!

    Lest you think the Bears are having an off season, I can't remember the last time they had a winning season.  I could Google it, but I would get too depressed.

    And it is not just the Bears.  Blackhawks and Bulls are not doing well.  The Sky fired their coach after a less than stellar season.  And I can't ignore the record losing Sox or the underperforming Cubs, who at least had a winning season.  Barely.  And who knows or cares about soccer?

    I think the state needs to declare an emergency and give e each team a billion dollars to sign better players and coaches.  

    Why?

    Is it the weather?

    Is it the facilities?

    Is it the Lake Michigan water?

    Is it management?  Team ownership?

    Has the city been cursed???

    I demand a federal investigation!!

    It is so frustrating to watch the ineptness of the Bears.  

    They hosted an 8-7 team at home.  How bad will it be when they go to Green Bay and face  the playoff bound Cheeseheads?  Will the Bears even score?

    I demand the mayor of the city and the gov put their heads together and figure out how to save this once proud sports town!

    If this keeps up, I may have to root for Chiefs.
