almost

 I am almost done with outside chores

    All I have left are 3 chairs and a couple of small pieces of furniture  to move into the garage.

    Problem is, I have no room in the garage!

    Yes, we have a 3 car garage with extra space in the front.

    But Julia has a lot of stuff out there.  It will go to the new house when it is finished, but right now it is just kind of helter skelter in the garage.

    Digression......I always wondered about the Beatles' Helter Skelter.  Was it a cult song used in the Tate-Labianca killings?  (Google it.) What hidden meaning did it hold?

    Turns out, it's a carnival ride!

    End of digression.

    Somewhere in the garage I have a snowblower. I know I will need that soon.  I use it for my sidewalk because we have a guy who does the driveway when 2 inches fall.  

    I just need to go out and rearrange things so I can get the chairs inside.

    Today would have been an ideal day to do that.  Beautiful weather for Dec. 8.  One of my neighbors even mowed!

    Julia and I did move the grill in, and I picked up some debris on the porch and before I knew it, the day was almost gone.  And I didn't have a nap!

    Of course, not watching the Bears after the first quarter gave me some extra time to go to the store, get a coffee at Cypress House, play with the dog, carry boxes downstairs and do a quick bathroom cleaning.

    I even sat outside at Cypress House for about 10 minutes, enjoying my coffee and the sunshine.

    Best part of all was Julia made lasagna and the four of us sat down to a delicious dinner.

    All in all, it was a pretty damn good day.
