oops

 Sometimes I forget things

    I don't believe it is anything serious.  I just forget.

    For instance, I went out tonight and realized the inpatients I had planted never got moved, so they sat in the sun for 2 days.  Also, I did not water them.  I might have killed them.

    I reprogrammed my hose timer.  The first sprayer  was to go off at 6 p.m. for 1 hour.  Then the second was to go off at 7 p.m. for 1 hour.

    Neither one went off.

    Why?  I forgot to turn the water on.  Well, not exactly true.  I thought I turned the water on.  But there is a turn on/off knob on the timer and I had it in the off position.  

    Jackie asked me for cashews today.  Twice.  I f forgot the first time.

    I keep saying it is because those things are not important to me..... but the plants were and the garden is.  I just plumb forgot.

    I sometimes forget that Beth is outside.  I will be busy doing something and Jackie will ask where the dog is and I will look and she will be outside laying in the sun or sitting at the door.

    Beth got me up at 5:30 today.  A.M.!!! She barked.  I heard her, miracle of miracles, and let her out the front door and then the back door.

    I did not forget her. We both went back to bed and slept until 8.

    That's about all I have.  I just hope the world is a better place tomorrow.
