It stormed last night
Two people said it stormed in the middle of the night....thunder, lightening, wind.
I didn't hear a thing.
One advantage to not hearing well is sleeping with my good ear down blocks out most noise, including thunder. Plus, I wear a sleep mask, so lightening isn't an issue either.
And Jackie? Out like a light.
Beth doesn't seem bothered by the storms, or at least if she was we didn't hear her.
We had over an inch of rain, so I took advantage of that to pound in tree fertilizing stakes around my trees. I did that last fall and the directions suggested doing a fall and spring feeding, so I bit the bullet and bought some stakes. But the ones I used last year were so much better. These did not have "points", although the package said they did. And after I pounded them to ground level, the pounding cap still had a chuck of fertilizer in it that had to be dug out.
If I was more energetic, I would write the company and complain. But that probably won't happen.
We did have one injury due to the wind last night. Tyson the Bison was blown over. I have not picked him up yet even though I was right next to him feeding a tree.
Huh.
Peace and Love
