Well, another Lenten season is here
I went to AshWednesday service tonight in DeKalb. Jackie did not go because the wind was howling and she did not want to be out in the rain in a 90 mph wind.
Well, maybe not 90. But it was strong. Still is.
So I went.
Seeing as we Episcopalians follow some of the Catholic traditions, this was a no meat day for us. Julia, however, does not follow in our footsteps.
We usually have shrimp dinners on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. The plan for me was to leave church, call The Dog Hub, and order 2 shrimp dinners.
I pass a Popeye's in DeKalb. They have a shrimp basket.
I bought one there, and ordered on from the Dog Hub for Jackie.
Why? you ask.
Jackie does not like spicy food.
At this point you are probably thing: Why am I reading this drivel?
Fitting, because I am writing: Why am I writing this drivel?
Shot story long. ... we both enjoyed the shrimp, but I have been burping a lot.
I am not sure it that is from the shrimp of the tv show that was on last night that I did not watch but read about.
Enough.
Peace and Love
