it takes a village

 I helped Julia unpack today

I joined the party late and left early.  But Sheri, Cindy, and Wendy did great work in putting dishes away, putting the work station together, and putting the bed together.

I was tasked with tightening the connections on the bed, a job I did admirably.

But there are still a lot of boxes to unpack and put away.

I will go over again tomorrow and do what I can, although I admit it is not as much as I wish.

That was my major accomplishment for the day.

In fact, it was my only accomplishment for the day!

I did go downstairs and play with Beth on the carpet.  She does not get traction on the word floors, so when I throw a toy and she chases it, she frequently slides into a wall or door.  Downstairs the carpet is a great surface for her.

I enjoyed the beautiful day but already am stressing out about possible storms tomorrow night.

Every year I get worse.  So do the storms.

I might try to go out and catch a glimpse of the lunar eclipse.  I read the best viewing time is about 2 a.m., or as I call it:  Bathroom break.

Hope you get a chance to see some of it.

Peace and Love
