We are supposed to get rain tonight 

    I won't be surprised if we don't.

    Two days ago the NOAA weather forecast said 100 per cent chance.  This morning it was an 80 per cent chance.  We shall see.

    It is suppose to rain starting after midnight and continuing off and on thru early Tuesday.  But again, we shall see.

    I bought some fertilizer spikes to put around the trees.  I tried pounding one in the other day, but the ground is so hard the spike refused to be pounded in!  I am hoping for a good soak so I can get the trees fed before winter.  The directions say use in early spring or late fall.....and it is getting late.

    It's a little past 8 as I am doing this little homily.  Julia just came in the house and got me because 3 deer were bedded down in our back yard.  She caught them in her headlights. 

    This morning there were some in the backyard when she let Beth out.

    That's why when people leave our house I always tell them, "Watch out for deer,"  I do mean it.

    Despite my mess up yesterday, the day ended great.

    Emily picked up the order I forgot and friend Sheri came over and told us about her recent trip.  Of course, wine was involved, and food. 

    All in all it was a fun night.

I somehow have accumulated dozens of plant containers.  That confuses me, because I don't think I have that many plants around the house!!  I am dropping them off at the high school next week for students to reuse.
