You know I have a sweet tooth
Actually, I have a whole mouthful of sweet teeth!
I am even counting the one I seemed to have chipped today. Let's see, broken tooth one week, filling falling out another week, now a chipped tooth. Damn.
Anyway, I am going to enlighten you tonight.
Background. Mallomars were introduced by Nabisco in 1913. They feature a graham racker base, fluffy marshmallow filling and are covered in chocolate.....dark chocolate.
Since they were produced in the olden days when refrigeration was not around, Mallomars are traditionally made from September to March. A couple of articles said while we have advanced with cooling technology, making them available only an art of the year increases their appeal.
About 70 % of the cookies are sold in the metropolitan New York area. They started being produced in New Jersey but are now made in Canada. They are not sold in Canada however, which I think is strange. I wonder what tariffs will do to the price of the goodies next year.
There are other cookies like them, Whippets for one, but Mallomars are the first and the best.
