I am near the end of Bond 

    Of his novels, Man With aa Golden Gun is the last written by Ian Fleming.

    I just checked that out on my Hoopla account.

    I think there is a collection of short stories, maybe 2 collections, but the Golden Gun seems to be the last novel written by Fleming.  Yes, others have written James Bond books, copying Fleming's characters and story lines.

    So far my favorite is You Only Die Once.  There is something poetic and fair  in the ending, then it gets spoiled.  I won't tell you any thing else in case you decide to read them.  Or it.

    I tortured myself today.

    I mowed my yard.  Damn, it was cold out there!

    I did not quite finish, but I will try to do that tomorrow.  I skipped the parts that Beth frequents.  I will do a clean up before I mow tomorrow.

    Speaking of Beth, we have developed a night time routine.

    She goes out, then goes to Julia's room and hops on the bed.  

    About 10:30 I let her out again.  After she smells around for 10 minutes, we come back in the house and I sit on the couch with her.  Then I rub her belly for 15 or 20 minutes while I read.  It is relaxing to both of us.

    I go to bed and she goes back in Julia's room.

    I think she will have quite a shock when Julia isn't there.  She better enjoy the next few months.
