I actually have some New Year's resolutions
However, I am taking them as suggestions, not must do items.
For example: I will go to bed with a clean kitchen. On paper that sounds great but in reality I have a problem with it.
Sometimes I just don't feel like doing dishes.
Today is the 5th, and I have made it 3 nights with a clean kitchen. That is well above the average success rate for me.
I also resolve to get rid of magazines sooner. I really only get a couple of magazines, but I noticed I had 4 copies of one of them and 2 copies of another. They come out monthly! Now I will date the magazine and 2 weeks after that date, pitch it. Unless there is a really good article I have not yet read.
I resolve to keep my computer desk top cleaner. I cleaned it off before Christmas and it is still fairly clean, with just a couple of magazines and some. books. OK,6 books I have not read yet. But I will!!
I resolve to stretch more. I have done that 3 of the 5 days this year. Again, not great but above e average for me. I found a video on hamstring stretching exercises for seniors. I am using some of those in the morning.
I resolve that for the next 8 months I will not complain about the Bears losing.
I resolve never to hand feed wild alligators.
I resolve never to ump out of a perfectly good airplane.
I resolve to stop swearing. Oh, never. mind. That one is already shot to hell.
I resolve to always be a light in someone's life. A candle in the wind. The match to your stogie.
Whatever.
Peace and Love
