So far, the year has been good
I know!! It has only been 2 days, but I can easily say the Bears Cubs, and Sox have not lost a game in 25!
I know!! They have not won one either.
Let me tell you how my year started
NYE we had friends over. In the past, we have gone to a house for NYE fun, eating food, playing games, and visiting.
But about 4 yers ago we stopped because Jackie was in the wheelchair and getting her into the house was a pain. If there was snow on the ground, it was also a mess.
So the party planners asked if we would host, eliminating the problem.
So we host, someone else plans, and all is good.
Usually.
This year I was doing some last minute picking up when..... I don't know what happened. I ended up on the floor, yelling obscenities, and had a sore head and shoulder.
Julia asked if I needed the ambulance, but I said no. I was sore, but ok.
2 days later and my shoulder is still sore. I have full movement and rotation, but I hit one of our pillars in the living room. I don't even have a bump on my head. I astonished at that.
Luckily I have doctor appointments coming up in the next couple of weeks or so and will explain the whole situation to everyone.
And no....I was not drinking when this happened.
But every time I sneeze I get dizzy.
I have made its through 2 days without any additional physical ailments.
By the way..... I did not get to bed until almost 4 a.m. on Jan. 1!!! I think that is the latest I have been up since I was a teen running the streets of the big city.
We got up at 11 and were really confused. Eat breakfast? lunch? Go right to dinner?
We ended up snacking our way through the day.
And that's the world as I see it, which is a hell of a lot better than the real world. People are insane these days. I think I want to move to an island, or deep in a forest, or Switzerland, or Southern France. Some small place where evil does not exist, croissants are fresh, and the coffee hot.
Peace and Love
