 I really don't like when things end

    I would get sad at the end of the school year.  Granted, that didn't last long, but I would get sad.

    I got sad every time Emily or Julia left for school.

    I got sad every time I left Switzerland.

    I got sad every time Julia went back to Switzerland.

    I am sad that the Cubs regular season is over, but happy they will play at least 2 more games...if not more

    I was sad today when Mike, Matt and Nam left.

    But I was so glad they came to visit Julia, because that meant they would visit Jackie and me too.  Which they did.

    I think they all had a good time.  And like all travelers, I think they were glad to be going home.

    Something else made me happy and shocked at the same time.  The Cubs, Sox and Bears all won!!!  That is pretty amazing!

    Warm weather the rest of the week....no rain in the forecast.  Should be good for home baseball at Wrigley Field.  Go Cubs Go!!

    And as a bonus, they play some day games!!!!  It can't get much better than playoff baseball at Wrigley Field.
