I visited the best pharmacist in the world today
Emily gave me Covid and flu shots and I did not feel more than a mosquito bite!
Jackie also got her shots. But Jackie and I are very different!
I get queasy watching commercials where people get shots! I get real nervous when I know I am going to be. vaccinated and seem to talk a lot.
Emily kept me distracted and occupied while she did her work. I took off my glasses and tried my head away from the needle, which helped a lot.
I don't have any major side effects. There seems to be an extra thumb on each hand and I am sure the horn on my forehead will go away soon. Otherwise I feel great.
Yesterday was a pretty busy day for all of us. Even Beth was tired! She slept all night in her bed, where she went after falling asleep on the floor in front of the bathroom door.
I did not take a nap, but I sure wanted to.
Instead I watched the Cubs lose, again. Then we went for our shots and some grocery items and I got home to watch the Bears win! Either they have turned a corner or Dallas is terrible. Time will tell.
Nice rain today.....had almost .5 inches in my rain gauge. Good for the trees and maybe good for the grass. It's been so dry I have not mowed in over a week!
