I have gone all week without a nap
When the morning help arrives, I was using that time to take a nap on the porch.
But when I do that, it makes for a very short afternoon.
They leave at 11, waking me up as they go.
After I shower, eat, read the paper, it's usually after 1 and halt the afternoon is gone.
So this week, I mowed the yard one day, spread dirt one day and rode my bike 2 days. I made much more productive use of my time.
And I don't miss the naps!
Now I have to try to get to bed earlier. That a lot harder than it seems for me.
Shorter sleep hours may be affecting my cognitive abilities.
Twice today I put pants on, only to stick both legs in opening.
I thought things were a little tight!
Amazingly, I have not killed off any of my porch plants yet. Usually by mid September I have lost interest in then, but. this year I have kept up watering them. I know the first frost is not too far off, and I have a rather ambitious plan for when that happens.
I made a mistake this year. Instead of buying potting soil, I bought a bag of top soil. That was not a good choice.
The dirt seems to harden and form a crust, which can't be good for the plants.
So I plan on emptying all my pots, washing them, and storing them in places I can find them in the spring.
I will take the dirt and continue to fill dips and holes in the field to make it smoother to mow.
I started a photo book for my Key West pictures. But I am having a hard time figuring out the Shutterfly format. I can get the book, but I can't seem to place the pictures in the right spot. I know it has to be easy, but I can't figure it out.
I'm giving it one more try tomorrow.
To be honest, I am not that patient to start with, so this has been hell for me.
Peace and Love
