Sometimes I actually do things
I mean the things other than being a full time caretaker. which involves doing laundry, cooking, doing dishes, and assorted other chores.
Beth just snorted at me! We just came in from outside and she wants to go out again. She stood next to me and snorted! Now she is pawing me. We went back outside and there is a whiff of skunk in the air. I think she can smell it and wants to confront it. No chance.
Today I finally edged the driveway! I have been trying to do that for several days, but kept putting it off.
It only took about 30 minutes, which surprised me.
I edged, picked up the debris, blew the driveway clean and it looks nice.
I also made a trip to the compost pile, emptied recycles in the house, watered plants on the porch, and watched the Cubs win. Emily brought us some huge mums, so I unwrapped them and put them on the porch too.
Funny thing. Monday thru Thursday we have people come in to help. They get here about 8, so I am up before then.
Today we slept until 10!
So we had chocolate chip zucchini bread for lunch. Thanks Jen and Sam for making it and for growing the zucchini. For supper I had Saturday's meal of buttered chicken from an Indian place in Rockford. It was darn good
And despite sleeping soundly for 10 hours, I fell asleep during the eighth inning of the Cub game! Right now I am so tired, I could go to bed. But it is early, I think. Sometimes when I am tired, I can not sleep.
Go figure.
