Just kind of a eh day today
Napped on the porch for an hour, went to the chiropractor, watched the Cubs, read on the porch, played with the dog, took Jackie to a library board meeting.
Even when I don't have anything to do, I have a lot to do.
Neighbor Jim sharpened my mower blades today. That was great of him to do that, since I have no aptitude for anything involving machines.
I did manage to scrape off the bottom of the mower deck, which may have convinced me to wash it every time I mow. It was gross. No wonder the garage smelled moldy.
It is a beautiful night tonight. I was just out with Beth and the stars are shining, the temps are cool, the crickets and frogs are in symphony mode.... really pleasant. Wish we had more nights like this, but without the mosquito that bit me on the hand and is responsible for the itch I now have.
I can feel summer drifing away. Not that I mind the humidity and heat leaving, but I do hate to see the time pass so quickly.
Never wish your life away. Enjoy every minute.
I have leaned that too late in life.
Garćon! Encore un glass vin rosé s'il vous plait!
Or something like that.
Peace and love
