whew!!!

 It's Mother Nature's  fault

My neighbor mowed and swept his lawn yesterday.

So I decided to get a final (maybe) mowing in today.

It was windy.  I think most of my leaves  blew into his yard.

Now, that is not my fault!  Eventually the wind changed directions and blew them across the street and into the empty field there.

While the wind was blowing leaves into his yard, it was also blowing leaves from the park into mine.

Now, I don't mind the leaves.  I like to mow them and leave them as feed for the lawn.  When I had a mulching attachment that was a lot easier to do. I did try to go over them several times, but the wind kept moving them!

I still have a maple with a lot of leaves and 2 oaks, which lose leaves in the spring, I think.   I am kind of surprised the maple still has leaves.

Jackie and I went to Julia's today.  Along with Sherie, we hauled up Julia's Christmas boxes.  I think there were 546 of them.  Well, maybe not that many, but a lot.

Realize all of these were from Switzerland.  I am sure there will be things she no longer wants.  I will be curious where she puts it all.

After Thanksgiving I will be lugging our boxes up. I should have installed an elevator.

We brought Beth, who christened Julia's basement floor.  Luckily it was in the basement and we were there.  Quick cleanup and  disposal.

We had pizza for supper from an Oregon place.  It was very good!

Driving home I went a little slower and kept a sharp eye out for Bambis.  They are everywhere and I don't need a new hood ornament.

Peace and Love.
