chairs

 I think we need a new chair

    Jackie has had a. real problem with her chair.

    It raises up, making it easier for me to move her from her soft chair to her wheelchair.   But she can't get back far enough in the soft chair to be comfortable.

    We have a pillow behind her, but that does not seem to help enough.  We might try 2 pillows, but I am not sure that will work either.

    Here's my problem;  If we get a new chair, she should try it out.  But the thought of lifting her in and out of chairs makes my back hurt.

    I may try some out on my own, then bring her along if I find one that would work.  But I don't intend to buy a chair she has not approved  of.  (Or of which she has not approved.  Whatever.)

    The next few days should be pretty brutal around here.

    Temps in the 90s with heat indexes over 100.

    Good time to stay cool and read.

     I have 2 chores to do this week inside.  Maybe 3.  Or 4.

    They will get done, eventually.

    It seems I always have more to do than there is time, or inclination. 

    And the heat and high humidity won't help.
