 Friday is always a special day

    End of the work week.  Payday.  Pizza night.

    Thanks to Sheri, we had pizza tonight!  Not only did she bring out the supper, she brought some super desserts.  We had a great time chatting and laughing.

    We also had a great bottle of wine.

    To be honest, Julia provided the wine. 

    I found a couple of bottles of an Italian wine in the basement, and I know I did not buy them.

    When she moved her collection, she must have missed these 2.  And I am glad she did.  It was a great wine!

    The evening wa a nice way to end the day.

    Jackie had 2 doctor appointments in Sycamore, so we spent a few hours over there.

    I made a huge date mistake.  Again.

    I thought our friend was coming Wednesday while I went to Rockford.  But she is coming Monday.  I had an ear appointment set for Monday, but in between Jackie's appointments I managed to reschedule the ear folks until Tuesday.

    So Monday will be my Rockford day.  I  think

    When we got home I managed to get in a bike ride. (Laurie, you inspired me!)  It was sunny, calm, but damn chilly as I rode.  I went around the block 2 times, but was too cold to go a third.

    Instead, I froze my butt off mowing part of the yard.  I will finish tomorrow.

    All in all it was a pretty fun, busy day.

    Tomorrow I have to finish mowing, trim a bush, and finish washing out pots.  I hope the temps are conducive to working outside.

    By the way, I have not used conducive in a sentence in 100 years.

    The wine is making me smarter!!
