whew

 I have had a busy week

    I capped it off today by going to a play in Rockford.  

    It was staged by Artists' Ensemble and I knew some of the people in the show.

    Funny thing....I don't remember names.  Linda said she and Dan were going to a play today.  I asked if they were seeing Alabama Rabbit.  She said that didn't sound right, but thought it was a 2 person play.  The show I was seeing had 6 people, 2 of whom I knew.

    When I walked into the theater, I saw Dan and Linda.

    Turns out I had the wrong name....Alabama Stories...which was based on a true story about a children's book that people in Birmingham wanted banned because 2 rabbits get married.  Not just 2 rabbits, but a black one and a white one.The book did not go over well with some people in Birmingham in the late 1950s.

    Anyway, it was a thought provoking show and it was really well done.

    To summarize the past 8 days:    Beatles tribute show; Shawshank Redemption play, Hadestown musical,  Hands Off protest, and Alabama Stories.  Plus my normal household duties.

    I am looking forward to a quiet week.
